COMBINED PROJECTION MEASURING DEVICE WITH MYCOM SWITCH AND PATH SENSOR FOR 281-431
The NHE Combi is a combination of NHE-H and NHE-U. It recognizes the rivet projection (U), serves as a hold-down device and helps to reliably recognize components before forming with tolerance errors or missing components. As result of the HPP-25 monitoring capability, inspection of components pre or post forming can be eliminated. Additional inspection Stations can be eliminated and production cost can be reduced.
Additional functions of the NHE which can be realized with the Process Control HPP-25:
▪ Primary riveting mode H with HPP-25
▪ Integrated, separate measuring system
▪ Integrated Mycom switch
▪ Produce precise formed rivet head height ,H' at different component heights, despite flexing of the machine
▪ Produce consistent dimensions at varying work piece heights
▪ Constant amount of formed shank length S at different work piece heights.
▪ Constantly deformed shank length S at different work piece heights.
▪ NHE-U with HPP-25 and auto-compensation allows a formed head height, relative to the rivet protrusion. Smaller protrusion = less forming, greater protrusion = more forming. Amount of compensation can be determined
▪ Rapid approach / working speed based on the work piece elevation for improved productivity
▪ Touch probe acting as a hold-down device on the workpiece base:
▪ NHE-Std: up to 40N hold-down force. Adaptable to RNE 151-431
Note: A retrofit may need replacing the length of the forming tool, the form tool holder, and the pressure cup
