BalTec Image for breaker terminal lug applications

Electrical terminals

WHAT
Low-quality mass-produced screws lead to extremely difficult production conditions.

WHY
The reason is that the critical function – the freely movable clamping plate – is not guaranteed.

HOW
The amount of rivet shaft protrusion needs to be determined. Now, the appropriate amount of forming is determined to ensure mobility and the minimum and maximum axial play. This is possible thanks to the integrated "Protrusion-measurement" combined with the "Auto-compensation" function.

Facts & Figures

Reference No. BCHA1034
Riveting Process Radial riveting
Material Tempered steel
Geometry Ø: 5x20 mm
Shank type Solid or semi tubular rivet
Rivet head geometry Flat or eyelet flare
Forming Tool Stadard if possible
Interfaces Process data recording, UDP protocol
Devices RN181
Process Control HPP-25, NHe-U, Auto-compensation
Area of Application Electrical industry, movable connections, varying lengths, electrical components, electrical wire terminal
User Benefits: Process Trouble-free operation, sub-sequent inspection is not necessary, part measurement not necessary before the assembly process. Automatic ‘in process’ compensation through Process Control.
User Benefits: Economic Cost reduction. Less than 0.1% scrap while using Process Control. Reduced process time.
